Ancient World Wine: A new word in the wine making history According to the standards adopted in the world: Wine is divided into two types – the Old World and New World wines.
The Old World wines are produced in Europe, and the New World wines are those who produced in the United States, Australia, Chile, New Zealand.
Armenian wine does not belong to any of this categories and we believe that next to the wines of the Old and New World, there is a place for another category -Ancient World Wines.
Because the wine-making traditions in Armenia has at least 6,000 years of history. In 2011, filled with the remnants of wine, grape seed and wine sharpener were found in Armenia, in a cave near the village of Areni, which are more than 6000 years.
