The dark red multilayer wine is assembled in accordance with the ancient Armenian method of “Classic Kakhani” by gentle rope-drying of carefully selected bunches of grapes. The result is a wine with rich and succulent aroma and delicate Armenian oak-tree flavor with the dominance of ripe cherry, plum and blackberry. The wine is produced from the Armenian “Areni”, “Kakhet”, “Haghtanak” and “Karmrahyut” grape varieties which are cultivated in a special area of protected geographical indication in Vayots Dzor region. It is aged for 24 months in barrels made of the Armenian oak-tree.
