The ruby-red, undiluted wine is assembled in accordance with the ancient Armenian method of “Semi Kakhani” by gentle rope-drying of carefully selected bunches of grapes. The result is a rich and long-lasting aroma wine with an ideal combination of velvet tannins and an astringent aroma with smoky and spicy aftertaste. The wine is produced from the Armenian “Areni”, “Kakhet”, “Haghtanak” and “Karmrahyut” grape varieties which are cultivated in a special area of protected geographical indication in Vayots Dzor region. It is aged for 12 months in barrels made of the Armenian oak-tree.
